Fundspring helps nonprofit teams manage funding work. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Effective July 5, 2026. This page gives a practical overview of Fundspring's privacy practices. It is intended to be readable, not exhaustive.
This policy applies to Fundspring websites, accounts, and product features, including the grant discovery workspace, charity profiles, project workflows, foundation matching, document tools, billing, onboarding, and support.
Name, email address, password-related account data, two-factor authentication status, profile details, role, permissions, and login activity.
Charity name, mission, EIN or registration details when provided, location, website, phone number, team members, invitations, and workspace settings.
Projects, funding needs, budgets, target populations, notes, reminders, match decisions, foundation relationships, uploaded files, and generated drafts.
Pages and features used, browser type, IP address, timestamps, session activity, error logs, security events, cookies, and similar technical information.
Fundspring uses AI-assisted features to search, compare, summarize, rank, and draft funding-related content. These features may process the project details, organization information, foundation data, notes, files, and prompts your team provides.
AI output can be helpful, but it may be incomplete or inaccurate. Your team is responsible for reviewing generated drafts, funder recommendations, and any information submitted outside Fundspring.
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only when needed to run Fundspring, support your account, process payments, use infrastructure and AI providers, comply with law, protect rights and safety, or complete a business transaction such as a merger or acquisition.
Service providers may include hosting, email, analytics, payments, security, customer support, and AI infrastructure providers. They are expected to handle information only for the services they provide to Fundspring.
Payment processing is handled by our payment provider. Fundspring may receive billing status, customer identifiers, invoice records, subscription details, and payment-related metadata, but we do not store full card numbers in the Fundspring application.
We use essential cookies to keep users signed in, protect accounts, and remember preferences. With your permission, we also use PostHog to measure page visits, signup progress, and product usage so we can improve Fundspring. We do not send form contents, passwords, authentication codes, or payment details to PostHog.
Optional analytics remain disabled unless you allow them. You can withdraw or grant that permission at any time on this device.
We use practical safeguards designed to protect account and organization information, including authentication controls, two-factor authentication, permission checks, encryption where appropriate, logging, and limited access to production systems. No online service can guarantee perfect security, so please use a strong password, keep 2FA enabled, and contact us if something looks wrong.
We keep information for as long as needed to provide Fundspring, support your organization, maintain security, comply with legal or financial obligations, resolve disputes, and improve the service. Some records, such as billing, audit, or security logs, may be retained after an account is closed when necessary.
Fundspring is built for nonprofit teams and is not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
We may update this policy as Fundspring evolves. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify users, such as updating this page, sending an email, or showing an in-product notice.
